Paying for Therapy
We know that getting help can be very expensive. That's way we have a few different avenues that allow us to support you. If you have financial concerns, still reach out to us and we will see if a payment plan may be an option for you. We may also be able to offer a sliding scale for some clients based on income concerns.
How to Pay
Insurance
Currently, we accept these insurances: Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, MultiPlan, Optum/United Healthcare. We just need your information and we can bill directly.
Self-Pay
No insurance? You can pay out of pocket. However, if expenses is a concern, speak to your OVAC therapist about a sliding scale or payment plan.

We accept major credit cards, Pay Pal, Affirm, and AfterPay via this website. You can also pay directly in your Simple Practice portal.
Mentaya
We have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.

Pay on Simple Practice
We use Simple Practice, which is a HIPPA compliant platform, for documentation, videoconferencing, and payment. If you are using insurance or if you are self-pay, you can see your invoices in your portal that we create for you once you decide you want to do therapy with us. If you are using Thrizer or Mentaya, your billing information will be in your Thrizer or Mentaya account.
Refund and Cancelation

There are no refunds for sessions that have been completed. Refunds are given for billing errors if they should occur. You will not be charged if a clinician cancels or reschedules the appointment. However, you may be charged if you no call/no show or do not cancel withing 24 hours. If you are sick or some emergency has occurred, there will be no charge.
